MARINATED BARLEYFIELD BEEF

Preparation time: 15 mins + 8 hours marinating

1kg Barleyfield Rump Steak (2 packs) 1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup dry red wine 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup orange juice 1 tbsp olive oil extra
4 spring onions (sliced) - salt and pepper to taste


Combine wine, orange zest and juice, spring onion, oil, vinegar and garlic in a bowl and combine.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the steak. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours, turning occasionally.

Preheat BBQ. Drain and dry meat, brush with the additional oil and cook over a high heat, turning only once until cooked. (See Cooking Tips)
